For a lot of basketball fans in South Dakota, state tournaments are a three-day festival in the host city. But for Mike and Terri Mebius, their state tournament experience in 2025 has turned into a road trip. The duo has three grandsons playing in the state tournament this week. Three different schools, three different classes, and three different tournaments.

The 2024 SDHSAA spring state golf championships wrapped up action on Tuesday from Yankton (AA), Sioux Falls (A), and Brookings (B Boys and B Girls).

The Gregory Gorillas defeated the Woonsocket-Wessington Springs-Sanborn Central Blackhawks 31-8 in the class 9AA championship game on Thursday afternoon.
