In an effort to bring awareness to the "Doolittle Raid" of April 18, 1942, and the two South Dakotans who took part in the raid, the South Dakota Air and Space Museum announces the "Raid Across South Dakota."
The Raid Across South Dakota will feature an authentic B-25 bomber which will fly from Sioux Falls to Ellsworth Air Force Base with stops in Mitchell, Pierre and Rapid City.
