The inaugural SDHSAA state Esports tournament will take place this week, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14-15, from Aberdeen Central high school in Aberdeen.
It's one of the fastest growing sports/activities in the nation with each year showing an increase in competitive Esports players and viewership.
SDPB will provide a stream of the event, in partnership with Fenworks, for both Friday and Saturday.

Games being played this week at the state tournament will be Chess, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Rocket League, League of Legends, and Minecraft.
